The PNWU Food Pantry, which recently expanded to accommodate MAMS and PT students, is now open to all PNWU faculty and staff. A faculty and staff-driven resource, PNWU’s food pantry has been in place since the university’s earliest days, providing shelf-stable food to members of the PNWU community.
You do not need to sign up for pantry access; if you are in need, simply visit one of the four locations on campus, which are accessible to the PNWU campus community 24/7:
- Toiletries, cleaning supplies, and paper products are located in the brown cabinet on the first floor of BHH by the north elevator.
- Shelf-stable food is located in the:
- black cabinets on the first floor, north hall of BHH, across from the student lockers.
- Labeled drawers in first-floor Watson kitchenette.
- Labeled drawers in first-floor UCC kitchenette.
Additionally, thanks to the ingenuity of PNWU’s facilities team, the pantry now features a larger, more centralized space for food items in BHH, freeing up existing cabinet space to accommodate room for toiletries, cleaning supplies, and paper products.
If you are interested in volunteering to support the PNWU’s food pantries or donating shelf-stable food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, or paper products, please contact Dr. Julie Habecker or Cat McCulley. They can give you a full list of items the pantry can accept. If you would like to financially support the pantry, please contact Lauri Roberson in Development. Please do not add items directly to the pantry. Items need to be inspected and rotated for safety and quality reasons.
