Dive into engaging faculty and student IPE tracks from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, offering valuable insights and collaborative learning opportunities. Pre-registration is required to secure your spot. Afterward, unwind and network at our social event from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, where you can enjoy refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres. Don’t miss this chance to connect, learn, and grow together!

Student IPE Workshops
- Option #1: Culinary Medicine Demonstrations
- Location: PNWU; MLC143 OT Performance Lab
- Details: Observe student-led cooking demonstrations emphasizing healthy meal planning, quality food preparation, and the connection between the science of nutrition and evidence-based medicine. Sample the recipes prepared and participate in an interprofessional activity to help build the essential skills for engaging in effective behavior-change conversations with your future patients. Participants will have the chance to enter to win one of two cookbooks written by our Culinary Medicine Program educator, Elaina Moon.
- Option #2: Stop-the-Bleed Certification Course
- Location: PNWU; UCC Barnhill A
- Details: Gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding through three quick techniques. There will be a mandatory requirement for an online training portion prior to the practical session. The online portion must be completed prior to the practical session to receive certification. The online training portion should take 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Participants will have the chance to enter to win one of two personal Stop-the-Bleed kits!

Faculty Development in IPE Workshop
Immerse yourself in a two-hour faculty development workshop where you’ll delve into the foundational concepts of interprofessional education & collaborative practice, discover our IPE core curriculum activities, & explore tools for enhanced interprofessional facilitation. Following the workshop, join us for a social event, fostering connections and celebrating our shared commitment to interprofessional education.
