Frank Orlando is a long time Yakima Valley resident. He is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys spending long hours in the saddle of his 2021 Harley-Davidson Road King. He is a member of the Yakima Harley Owners Group, Columbia River Harley Owners Group and Rattlesnake Mountain Harley Owners Group. He is a bona fide charity rider as well, riding for a group of long-distance riders called Mile Monsters Inc., which is dedicated to helping kids with Duchenne muscular dystrophy live their best lives. He has put more than a quarter million miles on his motorcycles in the last six years. Frank has recently completed the Hoka Hay rally, riding his motorcycle thru Hurricane Helene as he traveled from Florida to Alaska in 12 days. He will speak about his work with Duchenne’s MD, the perils of long-distance motorcycle riding including injuries he witnessed, and the Hoka Hey.
