Regional Clerkship Administrators (RCAs) oversee administrative tasks for the third- and fourth-year curriculum, acting as intermediaries between regions, students, preceptors, and staff. They create and manage affiliation agreements, monitor rotations external to PNWU, follow up on rotation evaluations, and offer support to RSAs and OMS4 students. Reporting to the Executive Director of Clinical Education, RCAs play a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operation of the clinical education program.
Moreover, RCAs actively contribute to the enhancement of the educational experience by playing a key role in coordinating with preceptors. Their involvement in engaging preceptors underscores their commitment to enriching the quality and breadth of the learning opportunities available to students.
