Policy:  
PNWU will utilize a consistent budgeting process that aligns the strategic plan and initiatives with faculty, staff and student needs, while addressing overall financial sustainability. The Office of Finance is responsible for leading the budget process and collaborating with department leads, Chiefs, Deans, Provost and the President. Upon finalization, the proposed operating budget will be presented to the Board of Trustees (BOT) for approval during the BOT meeting in April. The approved budget will take effect on July 1st
