How to Apply
School of Dental Medicine Admission Requirements
The Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences School of Dental Medicine Application is now closed on the AADSAS portal. The application will open again for the 2026 application cycle in early May.
Admission Prerequisite Mapping
SeaMar Clinic
In order to support our student clinic, SeaMar purchased a three-story building in Tacoma, which will be renovated starting in October 2024. The top floor will hold the student dental clinic, support areas and faculty offices. A portion of the second floor will hold the student simulation and virtual reality units as well as a large classroom. The balance of the second floor will hold a Sea Mar dental provider clinic. The first floor with hold medical primary care services.

Yakima Neighborhood Health Clinic
The Yakima Neighborhood Health clinic will be half a mile from the main campus and located adjacent to a primary care medical facility. The first floor is dedicated to patient care activities, and the second floor will hold faculty offices and student areas. Students assigned to the Yakima clinic will return to the main campus to utilize the simulation and virtual reality resources for their second- and third-year courses.

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic
The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic (YVFWC) located in Kennewick, WA will be located adjacent to their YVFWC Miramar Clinic, which has primary care and other services. Similar to the Yakima clinic, the Kennewick clinic is dedicated to patient care, and the second floor will hold faculty offices, student areas, and simulation/virtual reality training systems.

Give to the SDM
To request a tour of our campus, please visit our PNWU website to register. These tours are scheduled on the fourth Tuesday of the month, excluding PNWU’s Open House dates. PNWU-SDM tours are intended for those who are not applying for the current admission cycle.
Accreditation
As of August 2024, the SDM has received initial accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
