IPE Faculty & Preceptor Development
IPE prepares health profession learners for interprofessional practice by teaching collaborative practice competencies within the context of interprofessional teams. Faculty & preceptors must be prepared with the knowledge, tools, skills, and behaviors for facilitating interprofessional education for healthcare professional students in the classroom or in a clinical practice setting. Development in IPE is available through the NIHC, in partnership with the NIHC Curriculum Committee. The program utilizes online, asynchronous, and synchronous learning methods.
