The MAMS program prepares students to become compassionate, culturally aware, and competent health care professionals.
Students have leadership, community service, and research opportunities while exploring multiple health care careers alongside medical and health professions program students.

The MAMS program at PNWU is taught and mentored by highly skilled and supportive medical practitioners and educators who infuse every course with their knowledge and passion while providing invaluable support, insight, and feedback to students.

Community Engagement
Our MAMS program strongly focuses on community engagement, particularly in rural and medically underserved areas. You’ll have the chance to work with diverse populations and develop skills to meet the needs of underserved communities.

Interprofessional Education
We believe in the importance of interprofessional education. You’ll have opportunities to collaborate with students from other healthcare programs, including osteopathic medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, and dentistry, to learn how to work effectively in a team.
Admission Requirements
Acceptance is conditional until all required documentation is received and completed to PNWU’s satisfaction.
- Applicant must have earned a baccalaureate or master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Final, official transcripts from all previously attended institutions must be on file prior to matriculation.
- Foreign institution coursework must be submitted to a foreign evaluation service for a course-by-course US equivalency report.
- A cleared criminal background check.
- A cleared drug screening, if randomly selected.
- Applicant must certify the ability to meet the Minimal Technical Standards and can perform the requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Documentation of required immunizations.
- Documentation of health insurance.
- Other required matriculation forms, surveys, training, counseling, etc.

If invited, schedule an interview with PNWU.
