According to FASFA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), cost of attendance is defined as total amount of attending the program, which includes tuition and fees, books, supplies, transportation, loan fees as well as fees associated with distance education.

*Students with dependent children will have an additional $7,500 added to their budget and their Graduate PLUS Loan offer for dependent care assistance. Students who are age 26 or older as of June 1, 2023 will have an additional $1,020 estimated health insurance expense added to their budget and their Graduate PLUS Loan offer.

Additional expenses during the 1st year include travel and living arrangements for the week-long clinical experiences during the spring and summer semesters and during the 2nd year, travel and living arrangements for the full-time spring and summer semesters. This may include living expenses for out of the area or out of state clinical experiences in areas with a higher cost of living.

Some clinics may have additional requirements such as criminal background checks, drug screening, fingerprinting, etc. These costs are estimated at $50 – $200 and at the student’s expense.
