Expansion efforts continue at PNWU. Phase 1 of the PNWU Student Learning Collaborative (SLC) is expected to open in August 2023. Phase 2 of the SLC project will be completed the middle of 2024. This 80,000-square-foot space is designed to be where students from all health professions come together for clinical learning activities. The facility includes a comprehensive simulation center shared with the PNWU College of Osteopathic Medicine, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and WSU Nursing and Pharmacy programs.
Phase 2 of the SLC will be home to the PNWU-SDM simulation lab, virtual reality lab, and small group rooms. Construction is expected to begin later this summer. The SDM has been working closely with the architects to develop the teaching space in Phase 2.
