PNWU’s Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) recently elected its Class of 2025 student and faculty representatives. A signature program of The Arnold P. Gold Foundation – an international nonprofit organization committed to fostering and maintaining a culture of compassion, respect, and empathy in health care – the GHHS recognizes students, residents and faculty who are “exemplars of humanistic patient care and who can serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine.”
The following students and faculty members were elected to serve on PNWU’s GHHS chapter:
“As we welcome our eighth cohort since the inception of the GHHS-PNWU chapter, I am immensely proud of our members’ continued commitment to nurturing the human connection in medicine,” said PNWU GHHS chapter co-advisor Kim Wadsworth, DO, PNWU-COM Class of 2018, who founded the GHHS-PNWU chapter during her third year at PNWU. “At this pivotal moment in our chapter’s history, GHHS alums are stepping into new roles as preceptors and attending physicians, exemplifying integrity, compassion, excellence, respect, and empathy. Such mentorship not only enriches the clinical experience but also shapes future generations of physicians, inspiring them to uphold the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.”
