To search for images, enter your search into the query box. On the left sidebar of the results page under Filter Results, check the Images box. Sign in or create a free MyAccess account to save favorites or download images to PowerPoint.

Over 3 million images and over 30,000 video clips. Enter a term in the search box and then limit results by Source Type. Sign in or create a free user account to save images to Presentation Maker. Then export the images to PowerPoint or Keynote.
LWW Health Library
Search by topic, and then narrow your results by selecting image or video. Images can be downloaded directly to PowerPoint template. Browser cookies must be unblocked to view videos.

National Library of Medicine Digital Collections
Free repository of biomedical books, images, videos, and maps. A good source of historical images. Unless otherwise indicated, content is in the public domain. Search for an image and then under “Refine by” on the left side, select Copyright, then Public Domain.
NIDDK Image Library
A searchable database of original full-color and black-and-white illustrations produced by the NIDDK Information Clearinghouses that are available copyright-free to the public at no cost.
Open-i Biomedical Image Search Engine
A service of the National Library of Medicine that provides access to over 1.6 million images (including charts, graphs, clinical images, etc.) from about 580,000 PubMedCentral articles and 7,470 chest x-rays with 3,955 radiology reports. Check image license details before reusing an image.
PEIR Digital Library
A multidisciplinary public access image database for use in medical education. Contains images from the PEIR Pathology, Radiology, and Slice databases.
Public Health Image Library (PHIL)
Most of the images in the collection are in the public domain and free of copyright restrictions.
