When you look at pages of written notes, do all the words and letters blur together? Do you find it difficult to make meaning out of a page of words?
Mind mapping and concept mapping may provide powerful ways to capture a lot of information while using few words. The terms are used interchangeably. Instead of using a lot of words, you create pictorial representations of what you are learning. Mapping allows you to see connections in ways not readily possible with traditional outlines.
